Why is my name not on the shift list?

I have a second shift on duty. I have to go to work today.My name is not on the shift list, I have to go to the company and email my line manager.However, you will go and work and enter the company.After going to work, I feel so bored during work.The line I work on is called Bendsel.That means the pipes are bent in that line.You have to put production on the line every hour.
